Who can I talk to?

Who can I talk to?

In Redbridge there are loads of trained professionals that you can talk to about any worries or concerns, including sex and relationships stuff. They will keep whatever you tell them private (confidential) unless they think that you or someone else is at risk of harm. If you are worried about this ask them to explain confidentiality to you first.

All of our Youth Centres have staff that are happy to talk to you about concerns, pressures and also the good and positive things that are happening for you.

Every school in Redbridge has a School Nurse and they may even run a School Nurse health drop-in where you can talk about a range of issues including relationships and sexual health.  Check with your school receptionist for how to contact him or her.

You can also phone, text or email Talksafe 2 to speak to someone confidentially about any issues you may be facing or how you may be feeling.
