Where can I get free condoms?

Where can I get free condoms?

Condoms are free from YPF accredited sites in Redbridge and Barking & Dagenham, Contraception Services and various other places where young people go such as some Youth Centres.  Most of our YPF sites in Redbridge now offer a C-card service.  This means when you go to these sites to get condoms you will be asked to sign up to your very own card that is just for you to use.  What's really great about this card is that you can access free condoms from any site across London that displays the come correct logo which is on your C-card.

For information on all the sites that offer the c-card please log onto www.comecorrect.org.uk

Remember all YPF sites are free and confidential!  If you want to know what will happen about any conversations you have or any information you may give just ask the person serving you.

If you live in Barking & Dagenham and are between 13-25 years old, you can get FREE condoms by signing up for the c-card. The c-card scheme has many sites all across the borough. Ask your school nurse for more details. Or just look for the circle YPF sign in the shop window, pop in to register and get free condoms.

You can also buy condoms from pharmacies, supermarkets, garages and get them from vending machines in toilets in pubs and clubs. They can sometimes be expensive to buy and you should always check that condoms have the BSI Kite mark and CE quality mark and are in date before using them.

If you are going on holiday it is best to take some condoms with you – just in case. Sometimes condoms that you buy abroad aren't tested to the same standards as in the UK and might not be as good at preventing pregnancy and STIs.
