I've been pushed into sex

I've been pushed into unwanted sex

If you've been pushed into sex or someone has persuaded you to do something sexual you don't want, it is important you know it's not your fault. You don't have to deal with this on your own. Call  National Sexual Health helpline on 0300 123 7123 for free, confidential advice.

I think I've been raped

Rape can happen to both young men and young women. The word "rape" is often associated with a violent assault by a stranger, but the fact is that in most cases the attacker is someone who the victim knows from school/college/work.

Anyone who has been pressured to have sex without giving their consent has been raped.  If this has happened to you it is better to speak to someone as soon as possible to get the help and support you deserve and need.

For young women contact the East London Rape Crisis Service on 020 7683 1210 during these times:

Monday 10am-12pm

Tuesday 6pm-8pm

Wednesday 6pm-8pm

Thursday 6pm-8pm

Friday 10am-12pm

Saturday 10am-12pm

You can get local counselling, support and help with contacting the police if that's what you want to do.
